Celebrate Harvest Season in San Luis Obispo County this Fall

Wine glasses with red wine coming to cheers

In California wine country, October and November are the busiest months on the central coast with harvesting vineyards working late into the dark hours picking their prized grapes at the perfect moment for their planned blends.  Many exciting events are offering during this time to get the community involved and teach purveyors more about this craft that is a staple of industry in our area, next in line to Napa Valley, Willamette Valley, and other great wine regions on the West Coast.  Check out these wineries and events this Fall to get your hands (or feet) dirty during harvest season this year…

This ancient tradition goes hand-in-hand with winemaking and offers a tour of their trees and an invitation to learn as you explore. Guests are shuttled to the Groves on 41 for a guided orchard experience and olive oil tasting featuring their unique varietals.
