An additional pet cleaning fee of $100 (+Tax) per stay is assessed at check-in for Dog-Friendly Rooms. Before you arrive, please see our Dog-Friendly Waiver for our policies and guidelines. 

Dog-friendly rooms are limited. Please refrain from bringing your exotic pets, cats, birds, farm animals, etc. Guests introducing dogs into a non-dog-friendly room or suite will be charged a minimum of $200 (+Tax) cleaning fee plus damages, which includes but is not limited to lost revenue.

DOG-FRIENDLY BEACHES

  • PISMO STATE BEACH: Leashed dogs are allowed on Pismo State Beach all day, every day. However, dogs are not permitted on Pismo Pier.

 

  • OLD PORT BEACH: Leashed dogs are allowed on Old Port Beach next to the Harford Pier in Avila all day, every day.

 

  • AVILA: Leashed dogs are allowed on Avila Beach before 10 am & after 5 pm. No dogs are allowed on Avila Beach from 10 am to 5 pm.

OFF-LEASH DOG PARKS

  • ELM STREET DOG PARK: Open 8 am to dusk, seven days a week. 1221 Ash Street, Arroyo Grande, CA 93420. Directions: From 101 freeways, exit at N. Halcyon Rd, #1878. Turn right on Grand Avenue and turn left at Elm Street. The Leash-Free area is located at the South end of Elm Park.

 

  • LAGUNA LAKE DOG PARK: Partially fenced dog park in San Luis Obispo off of Madonna Rd. and Dalidio. Open Dawn to Dusk. 504 Madonna Road, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405. Directions: Head North on US101 for approximately 9.5 miles, take exit 201 onto Madonna Road, and make a sharp left turn onto Madonna Rd, take Madonna Rd. for approx. 1/2 of a mile and turn right onto Dalidio.
