Cambria Art & Wine Festival, January 24-26, 2014
All Day, Cambria

Friday evening is the event Kick-Off Party offering wine & food pairing, entertainment, preview of the Art Show/SilentAuction and special raffle prize packages will be held at the Veterans' Hall.

Saturday offers Wine Tasting at the Veterans' Hall & Joslyn Center (west village) & the Cambria Historical Museum (east village), over 35 local wineries participating. Saturday Evening offers additional venues with artists, food and wine pairing and continued entertainment.

Sunday offers an Artist's Faire with demonstrating artists, wine tasting and a barbecue lunch available. Raffle drawings will be held at the end of the event on Sunday at the Artist's Faire.

The Family Care Network's 109th annual Miracle Miles for Kids Walk/Run will take place on May 11th, 2013. The 10k race course runs along the water's edge from Morro Rock to the Cayucos Pier. When participants cross the finish line they will be treated to a post-race party with live music, lunch, and a diverse vendor fair, children's activities and an awards ceremony. This 5K race begins at 8:30am, with onsite registration only, from 7:15am-8:15am. Entry fees will be $10 without a race shirt and $20 with one. Shirts will be available for the first 120 racers, upon request. The course will be marked on the hard packed sand, starting and ending at the Pismo Beach Pier. I Madonnari Festival, September 6-7, 2014

Each year in September, the plaza of the Old Mission in San Luis Obispo California is transformed with colorful, large-scale street paintings created by artists and young people. City to Sea Half Marathon, October 12, 2014

Join in, or cheer on, the runners and joggers in a half marathon (13.1 miles) from beautiful downtown San Luis Obispo to wonderful Pismo Beach. Concert & complimentary buffet for race participants. The City to the Sea half-marathon course is a point-to-point race that starts in the heart of San Luis Obispo-downtown. The course winds through the city, takes runners on scenic back roads, and ends in the coastal community of Pismo Beach.

Enjoy a beer Olympics, featuring crowd favorite keg toss and bands like Trio Internationale.  Be sure to come in your lederhosen or dirndl as prizes will be awarded to the best dressed guy and gal.
