Since their debut in 1986, the Peking Acrobats have continued to push the envelope of possibility. They perform daring maneuvers atop a precarious pagoda of chairs. This 5K race begins at 8:30am, with onsite registration only, from 7:15am-8:15am. Entry fees will be $10 without a race shirt and $20 with one. Shirts will be available for the first 120 racers, upon request. The course will be marked on the hard packed sand, starting and ending at the Pismo Beach Pier. Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three men and women ages 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, & 80+. This event is conducted by the San Luis Distance Club.
